The Process

The need

Jellyfish had contracted with their client, a major, international electronics components retailer, to rewrite existing product descriptions so as to meet SEO best practices and improve client visibility online.

Points to consider:

• The project involves thousands of product descriptions, most highly technical
• Deadlines are fixed, with new batches of tasks allocated to the freelance copywriters involved every 3-4 working days

The solution

I work closely with the freelance editorial team to deliver high-quality, accurate and rigorously researched product descriptions. 

TOV is well established and the client wants the revamped product descriptions to be informative, easy-to-read and (wherever possible) fun.

Jellyfish closely tracks performance metrics via their bespoke freelancer interface software to ensure that quality standards are met.

The result

My creator grade is currently 4.6 out of a possible 5. Jellyfish considers scores between 4 and 5 to be indicative of consistent, excellent writing.
